Join Us in the Fight to Protect Innocent Animals
With millions of cats and kittens abandoned each year (most of whom aren't spayed or neutered), shelters are already overrun without the regular requests they get from their community to pick up strays. Nearly 1,000 cats are euthanized daily in shelters nationwide, due to overcrowding. Spaying and neutering help control the pet population. This reduces the number of stray animals, which can lead to fewer animals in shelters and lower euthanasia rates. It helps mitigate the problem of overpopulation, reducing the strain on animal shelters and rescue organizations.
Coastal Cats & Critters is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue and humane care of feral, abandoned, and unadoptable cats along the coastline of Baldwin County, AL.
We are responsible for funding and managing operations for the Coastal Cat Sanctuary, a beautiful stretch of 19+ acres that serves as a hidden haven for these displaced animals.
