Spay or Neuter Your Pets

With millions of cats and kittens abandoned each year (most of whom aren't spayed or neutered), shelters are already overrun without the regular requests they get from their community to pick up strays. Nearly 1,000 cats are euthanized daily in shelters nationwide, due to overcrowding. Spaying and neutering help control the pet population. This reduces the number of stray animals, which can lead to fewer animals in shelters and lower euthanasia rates. It helps mitigate the problem of overpopulation, reducing the strain on animal shelters and rescue organizations.
