SPOTLIGHT ON LEMON: A TALE OF HOPE AND HEALING

Lemon's journey began with a heart-wrenching video that moved us all—a black cat suffering from a severe neck wound and a battered nose, her eyes begging for rescue.

With relentless determination, our team worked tirelessly to locate and safely trap Lemon. Once in our care, she received the urgent medical attention she needed, and her path to recovery began. Today, Lemon's initial fear has transformed into trust, her pain into contentment, marked by her grateful purrs. Now one of the most affectionate cats at our sanctuary, Lemon eagerly seeks love and comfort from anyone she meets.

Her remarkable recovery from despair to joy underscores the incredible impact of your compassion. Lemon is now on the brink of a new life chapter—finding a loving forever home.

ADOPTION SUCCESS

This year, thanks to our partnership with the Stray Love Foundation, 23 cats and kittens have found loving families. Each adoption is a victory for love, joy, and second chances, and it is a celebration of the new beginnings we've fostered together. BUY A BRICK PROGRAM

We're so happy to share that we have sold 52 bricks in 2024 as part of our "Buy a Brick" initiative, which lays both a literal and symbolic foundation for the future of Coastal Cats Sanctuary. As we look ahead to 2025, our goal is to reach 100 bricks sold, and you can help us achieve this! Each brick purchased represents a step towards a brighter future for our sanctuary, paved with the love and support of our community. SENIOR AND KITTEN CENTER

We are excited to update you on the progress of our eagerly awaited Senior and Kitten Center. With the foundation set and walls now rising, this dream is turning into reality, partly thanks to a generous $10,000 grant from the Stray Love Foundation Draw Down.

We continue to welcome donations to help complete and furnish this special facility. We're also calling on all builders, crafters, and hands-on volunteers to help us create essential items like cat trees and beds. Whether you're an individual, part of a scout troop, or a school group, your involvement would be incredibly valuable.
